100% Sunlight Blockout - A separate 3 pass Blackout Lining attached, so blocks out 100% of light and 100% of UV. It prevents sun from damaging upholstery, protects your furniture, insulates from heat and cold, and most importantly allows you to rest in daytime.
Up to 30% of a home’s heating energy is lost through its windows. This necessitates additional energy usage. Blackout curtains help insulate your house, hence reducing heat loss. In winter, warm air is trapped indoors by the curtains, which means your Heat source needn’t work as hard to heat your home. How to choose the correct size:
With existing track:
Width - Measure the width of your track
Drop - Measure from the top of the curtain track to where you want the curtain to finish. ie, 1.60m, 2.05m, or 2.20m
No track:
Width - Measure the inside window frame from edge to edge and allow enough space at each side for stacking, normally 20-50cm each side depending the width of your window
Drop - Tracks suggested to be installed 5-10cm above the window, now choose which drops you prefer, ie, 1.60m, 2.05m, or 2.20m
